‘Ras Kala Manch’ Safidon was founded by an art lover and a social activist Sh. Ras Bihari Ji at a very small city in Distt Jind of Haryana. It is flourished by the hard work and efforts of young and dynamic theatre artists Ravi Mohan and Manish Joshi till 2015. In 2015 Manish Joshi left the group and theatre director Ravi Mohan preceded with the group. Since 2004 this theatre group has been working well with great enthusiasm and dedication across the country. Ravi Mohan is a dynamic self-trained theatre artist following the traditional theatre as well as updating his group and team with new trends of theatre arts. The group has participated in various national theatre festivals and successfully presented the plays–Doosra Aadmi Doosri Aurat, Jab Main Sirf Ek Aurat Hoti Hun, Mai Kahani Hoon, Chandu Bhai Natak Karte Hain, Hum To Aise Hi Hain, Lakhmigatha, Parsai ki Chaupal, Kahan Kahani Kahan, Naagmandla, Kurukshetra Gatha, Maria Farrar, Teen Khamosh Aurtein and Sankrman Se Virus Tak. Ras Kala Manch has also promoted Haryanvi cultural style through theatre in its events. The group has also played number of times in association with famous organizations like National School of Drama New Delhi, Sangeet Natak Academy New Delhi, N.Z.C.C. Patiala, W.Z.C.C Udaipur, N.C.Z.C.C Prayagraj, Information Public Relation Department and Culture Affairs. Chandigarh, Haryana Kala Parishad, Multi Art Culture centre, Art & Culture Department Govt. of Haryana, Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Academy Chandigarh, Kurukshetra Development Board Kurukshetra and many more.
