Sarpdaman Auditorium (Description of Project)

Safidon is the historical name of the city Sarpdaman, which is based on the details of a famous story in Mahabharata period. Safidon also comes in the area of 45 Kos of the Mahabharata war in Kurukshetra. Ras Kala Manch Safidon is in the planning of building an auditorium in the name of historical name Sarpdaman for its studio theatre.

Sarpdaman auditorium will be built on a 75 feet wide and 150 feet long (1210 yards) land of Ras Kala Manch Safidon on a paved canal which is located on a 55 foot track.
The Sarpdaman auditorium will be built like proscenium theatre in which about 300 viewers will be able to enjoy theatre presentations. The length of its platform will be 400 feet and depth will be 32 feet. The auditorium will be fully air conditioned. There will be separate green rooms for women and men artists in the Sarpdaman auditorium, which will be fully air conditioned in which separate toilets and make-up facilities will be available. There will be a hall of 48X30 beneath the platform of Sarpdaman, which will be 12 feet in height and there will be a provision to keep the costumes, sets, hand-made material and other articles related to plays. The width of this auditorium will be 50 feet, length 90 feet and height 22 feet. In the auditorium, there will be a separate room exactly in front of the stage for lighting and sound system where lighting and sound system will be arranged for any presentation related to theatre. The room will be fully air conditioned.

In the premises of the auditorium, an office, a ticket window and an adequate toilet (Male/Female) will be made. A watchman will be appointed for 24 hours security of this entire auditorium. For the audience, arrangements will be made to sit outside the auditorium to avoid sunshine and rain. The parking facility for two-wheelers and cars will be provided to the audience in the courtyard of this auditorium. To get the set and items of play, a 14 feet wide road will be kept to the stage to avoid any kind of discomfort of the artists. A large room will be set up for artists to eat separately and arrangements will be made to stay at night for about 30 artists. There will be a separate provision for the stay of women and men artists. In it seven rooms will also be reserved separately for guest artists, Ras Rangmandal artists and distinguished invited guests.
Sarpdaman auditorium will be equipped with all lights, sound and all the other accessories connected to it. For this, the soundless generator will also be arranged. In the courtyard of the auditorium and in the green room, garbage dumps will be kept in place for cleaning. Apart from this, two cleaning workers will be deputed for cleaning up to 8 hours a day and will be on duty during theatre presentations.

Whether you are a writer or an actor or a stage manager, you are trying to express the complications of life through a shared enterprise. That's what theatre was, always. And live performance shares that with an audience in a specific compact: the play is unfinished unless it has an audience, and they are as important as everyone else.
